Among those arrested was Madam Ola Ruth, a local shop operator, after dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp were discovered on her premises.

The other 18 suspects were taken into custody for drug peddling and substance abuse.

Authorities seized quantities of white powders believed to be heroin or cocaine, Indian hemp, opioids, and various drug paraphernalia.

All suspects are currently in custody at the Suntreso Police District Headquarters, pending further investigation and prosecution.
