Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The draw was conducted on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
The Black Stars secured their fifth World Cup appearance by topping their qualification group with 25 points. They now face a formidable challenge in a group featuring the world’s 4th (England), 10th (Croatia), and 30th (Panama) ranked nations.
A significant format change for the 2026 edition means 32 teams up from 16 will advance to the knockout stage.
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups will qualify automatically, joined by the eight best third-place finishers.
Ghana, however, can progress by securing a top-two spot in Group L or by ranking among the best third-place teams.
The final match schedule, including venues and kick-off times, will be confirmed on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
