Generous individuals have managed to raise over $60,000 to help penciledcelebrities artist, Emmanuel Apraku, undergo liver surgery.
The young talent simply known as Ray, is battling for his life after suffering liver complications.
On Wednesday, August 19, a GoFundMe account was created to receive donations to help save Ray’s life.
The artistic creator needed £40000 to undergo the surgery that could save his life.
On GoFundMe, a target of $55,000 was set to get the required amount needed to cover cost of operation.
In Ghana, well-wishers created a campaign #5Cedis4Ray, encouraging people to donate at least GHc 5 to help Emmanuel Apraku.
A mobile money account was designated to collect all donations from people in Ghana.
Fortunately, the target of $55k has been exceeded on GoFundMe with more people still donating regardless.
As at the time of this report, over $60k had been raised for Emmanuel Apraku.
