Total count of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana has risen to 6,096, following the confirmation of 178 new cases.
Ghana Health Service disclosed this in its latest update on May 19, 2020.
Total number of persons who have recovered from COVID-19 also rose by 19 to 1,773.
Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western and Central Regions were the four regions that recorded the 178 new cases.
The Greater Accra Region still leads as the region with the highest number of confirmed cases, followed by the Ashanti, Central and Western Regions.
