Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has begged Nigerian singer Yemi Alade to follow him back on Twitter.

Sarkodie made the plea after he realized that the ‘Johnny’ hit maker had unfollowed him.

It will be recalled that in 2017, Yemi Alade described Sarkodie’s work ethics as ‘unprofessional’ for ignoring her multiple requests for a collaboration.

Yemi Alade said she met Sarkodie on different occasions and they agreed to record a song but the rapper always failed to honor his word.

“I’ve really tried my best to really not go into details but the long and short on why I don’t want to dwell on this is that is super unfair, unprofessional and unkind for international acts or even artistes to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things, you don’t come through at all”

”I can count 3 different countries and three different venues where my team and I had an agreement with the artistes (Sarkodie) in particular and he didn’t come through”, she once recounted on Starr FM.

Sarkodie after three years has taken a step to repair his broken relationship with the Nigerian singer.

The rapper asked his fans on Thursday, February 6, to join him apologize to Yemi Alade and pleaded for her to follow him back once again.

“Ou just realized queen unfollowed me… SarkNation tell my sis to follow me back n I’m sorry. No need for no explanations it’s 2020 Link up…always proud of you,” he tweeted.

The Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, is yet to respond to Sarkodie’s plea on Twitter.
