Veteran Highlife musician, Lucky Mensah has added his voice to the sect of Ghanaians, calling for Kofi B to be given a state burial.
In his opinion, he the ‘Bantama Kwasi Boakye’ hitmaker has paid his dues enough to be accorded a well-deserved burial.
Speaking in an interview during the one-week celebration of the late highlife artiste, Lucky Mensah said, Kofi’s death is a loss to the entire country.
“We’ve made a huge loss as a country and not only the music industry. Kofi B is someone that where ever you go to you hear his music being played. It doesn’t matter whether its a party, wedding or a funeral; his songs are played everywhere. For this, I agree with those who say Kofi B deserves a state burial,” he stated
Kofi B’s family has announced that his funeral will be held on Saturday, April 25, in Accra.
