Wendy Shay finally meets Ebony’s family

Singer Wendy Shay has finally had a meeting with family of the former Rufftown Records diva, Ebony Reigns.

Ever since the ‘Uber Driver’ singer was unveiled by Rufftown Records, many, including the father of the late singer, claimed that the singer was just imitating Ebony Reigns.

This created some sort of rivalry between Ebony’s family and the label, Rufftown Records.

Wendy Shay’s manager, Bullet was also accused of handing over songs composed by the late Ebony Reigns to Wendy Shay.

Two years after Ebony’s death, the Opoku Kwarteng family and members of the Rufftown record label have reunited.

The two parties had an interaction at “Ebony Jollof Party”, which was organised by Ebony’s father in Dansoman to honour the legacy of the former Rufftown Records signee.

Wendy Shay took to her Instagram page to reveal her excitement after the encounter with Ebony’s family.

“First time meeting the family of Ebony Reigns. The love is deep ❤️. 16th February Is Ghana Jollof Day#ebonysjollofparty #rufftown #Shaygang”, she posted.
