Shatta Wale has descended on rapper Sarkodie for releasing ‘Oofeetsɔ’ just after the Dancehall act dropped ‘Borjor’.

According to Shatta Wale, the rapper is failing to corporate with other local artistes to help Ghanaian music dominate music charts across the world.

The ‘Kakai’ hit maker explained that the Beats Per Minute (BPM) of Sarkodie’s ‘Oofeetsɔ’ is so much higher than the current Afrobeats songs in Ghana and this makes the synching of Ghanaian music difficult.

’’It is a team work. But here when I record Borjor then somebody will record ‘Oofeetsɔ’. You see the trend that is what is going on now. That is Afrobeats’’

’’It is business. It is market. ‘Oofeetsɔ’ is not in that line. It is business for us to trend in the Nigerian iTunes market as well’’, he said on Onua FM.

The controversial artiste released ‘Borjor’ in October 2019, and Sarkdoie also released ‘Oofeetsɔ’ in November 2019.

Shatta Wale said Nigerian artistes always beat Ghanaian artistes because they make sure their trending songs can easily sync.

’’When Wizkid releases a song then Davido wants to play another tempo of that song. Then they are climbing. That is why you see iTunes chart in Ghana then they are trending’’, he bemoaned.

The Dancehall act called on Ghanaian artistes to set an agenda to dominate music charts in other countries.
