A video making rounds on social media captures hundreds of residents in Cape Coast hanging out at a beach close to the Cape Coast Castle.
The young man who recorded the video was heard saying that they gathered at the beach for a good time after President Akufo-Addo’s ban on social gatherings.
He was also heard saying that they don’t fear death or Coronavirus.
It is unclear what might have attracted the residents to the beach after the ban on social gatherings.
