Teenager injured at Medikal’s Sowutuom concert struggling to breathe

A fan who attended Medikal’s ‘Welcome to Sowutuom’ concert in 2019 is battling for his life in a hospital.

The 18-year-old fan got injured during the concert after an accident.

Large speakers at the event fell on him and other fans during Shatta Wale’s performance.

The fan, identified as Frank Arhin is still on admission at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital months after the concert.

He had his neck broken and fixed with a cast and also developed a huge sore on his buttocks and other parts of his body including his penis.

According to doctors, he can no longer breathe nor walk properly.

Frank Arhin said he has suffered so much after the accident at the concert.

The teenager, who lost both parents, added that he has no one to help him pay his bills.

“I have been at Korle Bu Hospital for the past 4 months and I have no one to pay my bills,” he told Adom TV’s Sergio Manucho.

Frank Arhin’s hospital bill is currently about ¢4,600.

Rapper Medikal is yet to comment on the matter after this report.
