Dancehall artiste Jupitar has recounted how fellow Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was slapped by a policeman.
According to him, Shatta Wale was manhandled by a policeman for trying to avoid sanctions by claiming he is famous.
Jupitar said the incident occured at La Tawala Beach Resort in Accra, though he didn’t state the specific date.
He said they were on their way to the beach sometime ago to have fun when they were suddenly given a hot chase by the police.
The ‘Enemies’ hit maker did not disclose their offence leading to the hot chase by the police.
He stated that the officer soon caught up with them after which Shatta Wale asked him to calm down because he is a star.
“Dem catch we weh Wale say ‘ohh you no know me? Ibi me do dancehall king ina do woole Ghana”, he recounted.
Jupitar added that Shatta Wale immediately received heavy slaps from the policeman which sounds he described as ‘taaaa, taaaa’.
