Reggae and Dancehall act, Stonebwoy, has revealed that he doesn’t make any profit from his ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert.
The event which is organized yearly by the artiste in Ashaiman has been running for years.
Though the free show attracts over 40,000 people and a number of sponsors, Stonebwoy states that he doesn’t make money.
In an interview monitored by JiveGh.com on Hitz FM , he said organizing the event is one way he tries to give back to society especially Ashaiman.
The town has been supportive of the artiste’s career since the beginning.
Stonebwoy grew up in Ashaiman and spent most of his teenage days there.
Over the years, the singer has expressed his desire to contribute to the transformation of the slum area.
The 2019 ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert comes off on November 30 at the usual venue, Sakasaka Park in Ashaiman.
Top acts including Samini, Sarkodie, Epixode and many others are expected to thrill patrons on the night.
Stonebwoy also announced that there will be a surprise act.
