Award-winning rapper Sarkodie says Obrafour once ignored his request for a collobaration.

The BET award-winner said he tried to record a song with the veteran rapper when he was still an up-and-coming artiste.

Sarkodie said he used his grandmother’s phone to call Obrafour after he took his number from the veteran’s niece, Ama.

Sarkodie was then schooling with Ama at Achimota Preparatory School.

The ‘Saara’ hit maker said when Obrafour picked up the call, the veteran asked his name which he answered.

Obrafour then told Sarkodie, which was not his name by then, that he was travelling and that he will get back to him later.

“He (Obrafour) doesn’t know that story….He said he was travelling when he gets back”, he told Dentaa in an interview.

According to Sarkodie, Obrafour never returned his call.

Sarkodie however stated that he understood that the veteran rapper had a lot of things to attend to.
