Ghanaian rapper, Denning Edem Hotor, better known as Edem has charged his colleague musicians to do more to educate the masses on the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic through music.
When Edem was asked on of Radio Central fame, what’s preventing musicians from composing an all-star coronavirus campaign song to educate the public, he said
“When the disease started everyone didn’t have proper grips of the situation. Some artistes have released some songs though.”
“But I think it’s a brilliant idea to do a song with different languages and it must be well-coordinated so as to get the messages from different artistes right on point”
“Right now, some artistes are not in Ghana. Because of social distancing, we can’t also be together in a studio to record, so I will let everyone do their verse and forward it to me. When the song is finally done, we would have to credit you, Amansan Krakye for the idea”.
