Despite staging a highly patronized concert, Stonebwoy will not be happy that some patrons at his ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert engaged in a brawl with the police.

Some fans and security personnel were captured in violent exchanges at the concert on Saturday held at the Saka Saka park.

Security had a hard time controlling the over 40,000 crowd with some trying to force themselves unto the stage.

As the security prevented fans from coming too close, some of these fans got angry and started dismantling the barricades used to separate the stage from the crowd.

The confrontation became extremely violent when some of these fans began pelting bottles and other items at the police.

All these happened when Stonebwoy’s disc jockey, DJ Justice, commenced his performance to introduce Stonebwoy.

Even when Stonebwoy started his performance, some fans still refused to comport themselves and continued the exchanges with the police.

Stonebwoy had to pause his performance and plead with the violent fans to allow calm to be restored.

‘People of Ashaiman take it easy. Security take it easy. Ashaiman! Yo! Yo! Ashaiman why?’, the artiste was heard screaming.

Despite the clashes, the event witnessed great performances from up-and-coming artistes as well as top artistes in Ghana.

Sarkodie, Obrafour, Kwaw Kese, Samini, Quamina MP, Mugeez, Paedae, Kwesi Arthur, Strongman, King Promise and the surprise act on the night, Shatta Wale, performed to the delight of patrons.
