Ghanaian rapper Edem has questioned entertainment pundit and blogger George Britton over his comment on the music industry recently.

George Brittton said that Ghana’s music industry would have collapsed if not for the presence of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonbwoy.

He believes these three are the ones keeping Ghanaian music relevant.

George Britton’s comment has been challenged by a number of people in the showbiz industry.

Rapper Edem is the latest and he asks if the blogger truly thinks about his comments before letting them out.

“George M. Britton some times u talk and I wonder if you really analyze before going on Pundit show..How can u say if three artiste leave an industry it would collapse…First of all creative industry thrive on money not talent..That’s why ppl without talent can blow with money..U claim y’all made 500k out of a signed contract but we no see nothing”, Edem posted on Facebook.

Edem also doubts that the showbiz pundit understands the issues in the industry.

“What’s shows u understand the space..If when the biggest financeer left the business where most of the names u mentioned were signed it didn’t collapse..There are variables in showbiz.. 4syte can make another big name Charterhouse can give another act a platform. Don’t just dey get up and talk Cos them book you for show my g”, he added.

A number of fans have agreed with Edem while others feel George Britton is right.
