Yayra Koku of the National Democratic Congress says the security guard who prevented Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah from shaking the hands of former President Mahama should have slapped the pastor instead.

Founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah was prevented by a guard when he approached the former President for a handshake.

The incident occurred at a program held Holy Ghost Revival Center of the Assemblies of God Church, South Odorkor in Accra on December 1.

Yayra Koku feels Mahama’s aide should have slapped and dragged the pastor out of the former President’s presence.

In a Facebook post, the NDC activist said the pastor was not formally invited to the event but went there to create a scene.

“You were not invited to the programme. The moment you heard JM was around you just came there to fool just because your church is close to where the programme was taking place. Next time the security should just slap him and drag him out.”, Yayra Koku wrote.

Reports indicate Rev Owusu-Bempah on his way out of the church after seeking leave tried to exchange pleasantries with the former President.

Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, prior to the 2016 general elections prophesied a lose for the NDC government and he is believed to be sympathizer of the NPP government.
