Former Adom TV presenter, Nana Yaa Brefo, says an elderly woman became ill upon hearing news of her resignation.
According to her, the old woman was rushed to the hospital after hearing the news that shocked her.
Nana Yaa Brefo said she has been overwhelmed by the love shown her after her resignation.
“The love shown me has been massive. I can show you some messages on my phone an elderly woman has been admitted to the hospital because of my resignation”, she said on Kofi TV.
The former Adom TV presenter believes that her shows on Adom TV used to ease the pain and sorrows of viewers.
“Some watch me on Adom TV and all their troubles and burdens go away. Although we are not doctors but we try our best to take their problems away. Those things motivate me a lot.”
Her resignation came shortly after she received public backlash for an infamous interview with actress Nana Ama McBrown.
Announcing her departure in an Instagram post, Nana Yaa Brefo thanked The Multimedia Group and her fans for their support during her 10 years service.
