Gospel artiste, Patience Nyarko who has been the centre of unnecessary controversy over the last few days has said, she deserves to be applauded for walking off the interview with Joy News’ Becky.
Making her latest point in an interview on Okay FM, the Gospel singer said what she did is justifiable and rather deserves applause plus an apology from Joy News.
According to Patience Nyarko, though she has forgiven the journalist for her line of questioning, she expected an apology from her as well, but that has since not happened.
“I did well by standing up and leaving the interview. If it were someone else he/ she would have done worse. There are some questions which are not necessary so you do not need to ask them. I should be applauded for what I did. They have not since then called me to apologize for what they did to me,” she told Okay FM.
Patience is said to have walked out of an interview with a JoyNews reporter when the reporter insisted that Joe Mettle has written at least 40 of his own songs, contrary to Patience allegation that Joe only sampled songs.
A rather rude Patience asked the reporter to add sixty to it to make a hundred songs and then walked off the interview.
