Comedian Derrick Kwabena Bonney (DKB) has warned Ghanaians against purchasing cars on weekends especially from individuals.
The Ghanaian entertainer made this call after revealing that he purchased a stolen car one weekend.
DKB believes that a lot of stolen cars are sold during weekends by individuals.
In an interview with Dr. Pounds on Hitz FM, DKB shared his bitter experience and advised Ghanaians against repeating his mistake.
“I didn’t know it was a stolen car….Second mistake, never buy a property on a weekend. I was so stupid. I went to buy a car on a Sunday”, he said.
DKB purchased the stolen car after he arrived in Ghana in 2012 from the Big Brother Africa house in South Africa.
The car was the comedian’s first but he lost the car after police identified it as a stolen vehicle.
