People of Weija-Gbawe want me to become their MP – Asamoah Gyan

Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has revealed the people of Weija- Gbawe have made it clear they would like him to represent in the parliament of Ghana.

The footballer over the years has been very good to the people of Weija-Gbawe, which is the community in which he lives.

Gyan recently paid for the construction of the road going on at his end and this act of his has won the admiration of many.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM, Asamoah Gyan revealed that the generous acts done by him over the years has prompted the constituents in his area to plead with him to stand as their member of parliament.

“I’m happy that people are grateful for what I have done. I said earlier that people want me to become their MP. The most important thing is that people are happy with what I have done”, he said.
