Ghanaian musician, Wendy Shay has said she has every right to call her the queen of Ghana music because she has earned it.
Many people choose to call her the hottest female artiste, but she says she would rather prefer the name queen of music.
In an interview with David Mawuli on Pulse Ghana’s, Wendy mentioned that she was given the name by her fans and hence expects to be called that.
Wendy Shay during the interview, was asked how she felt for not making the list of the 5 most-watched artistes in Ghana as ranked by Billboard.
She replied saying she felt happy for them(Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kinaata, Diana Hamilton) making the list and the fact that they made it to the list alone means something good for the music industry as a whole.
