Ghanaian social media influencer and entrepreneur Michelle Diamond, popularly known as Michy has reacted to John Dumelo’s audacious call for authorities to legalize polygamy and polyandry.
The actor turned politician said in a post on social media said that although he does not believe in polygamy, he sees nothing wrong with engaging in it.
He added that once the individual has enough resources to take care of all the wives and children involved, he should be allowed by law to do so.
He then added that women just like men should be given the freedom to marry more than one man.
This statement sparked a conversation online and Michy, former girlfriend of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, has shared her thoughts on the matter.
Taking to her instagram account, Michy shared Dumelo’s post and stated that she is very much interested in taking five husbands because only one would get boring after a while.
“So John thinks polyandry should be legalized, but can men actually take it?? I want 5 husbands then, 1 will get boring” she wrote.
