Nigerian musicians have dominated the list of Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists released by Billboard, with no Ghanaian making it on the ranking.
The ranking, based global views on YouTube, sees Nigeria’s Burnaboy top with 435.57 million streams, with Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz coming in second with 291.98 million streams while Davido takes the third spot with 285.76 million streams.
A total of 9 Nigerian acts including, Wizkid, Tekno, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Joeboy, Sinach and Flavour made the list.
The others on the list are Fally Ipupa, Innoss’b, Harmonize, Rayvanny and Eddy Kenzo.
