Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy has disassociated himself from reports suggesting that he had a hand in the attack on Kelvyn Boy on June 22.
The ‘Afrobeats’ hit maker was attacked by a man when the singer joined Electroland Ghana Limited (EGL) for the opening of a new branch in Ashaiman.
Stonebwoy who is known to control music fans in Ashaiman was alleged to have probably masterminded the act, according to subtle tweets by his former artist.
Also, it was reported that Stonebwoy’s former bodyguard launched the attack on Kelvyn Boy.
However, in a press release issued by Burniton Music, the label described attempts to draw Stonebwoy into the matter as scandalous.
“These imputations of criminal conduct are very scandalous and calculated to cause dissatisfaction for Stonebwoy, our organization and our brand”, an excerpt of the statement read.

Management of Stonebwoy also stated that none of the people involved in the scuffle including the artist’s supposed bodyguard have ever been employed by Stonebwoy.
The singer said he is focusing on promoting the positive image of Ghana through his ‘Anloga Junction’ album and wouldn’t allow such calculated attempts distract him.
Management added that they have instructed their lawyers to take on the necessary legal action regarding the matter.
