Acting General Manager for GHOne TV, Nana Aba Anamoah has opened up on the controversial Range Rover gift.
Social media had descended on the broadcaster regarding the number plate on her Range Rover gift which was said to be fake.
A social media user claimed that the vehicle is registered as a Nissan Rogue with Enterprise Life Insurance and not a Range Rover.
Soon after, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) issued a disclaimer saying the number plate on the Range Rover belonging to Nana Aba Anamoah is fake.
Nana Aba Anamoah in an interview on Joy FM said she didn’t know the number plate of the vehicle was registered by another car until the storm on social media began.
The broadcaster said she reported the matter to the police after the social media uproar.
“When I noticed the concerns about the number plate, I went to the police myself to file a report”, she stated.
“The next day, I went to the regional CID officer and filed a witness statement that I had received a car with a fake number plate. I took it serious”, she added.
Nana Aba followed through with the Authority’s advice and registered her car which now has N 1 – 20 as the number on it’s plate.
