Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shared his horrifying experience during the earth tremor that shook Ghana on June 24.

The artist is currently in government’s mandatory quarantine after returning to Ghana a few days ago with his family.

Some residents of Accra reported stories of earth tremors on Wednesday night within a space of ten minutes on social media.

Areas that reported tremblings include Osu, Ablekuma Manhean, Kaneshie, Achimota, Adenta, Circle, Kokomlemle, Accra New Town, Legon, Dansoman, Kasoa, Haatso, Kwashiman, Teshie, Nungua and McCarthy Hill.

In a video posted by Sarkodie on Twitter, a piece of furniture fixed against the wall at his base fell during the earth tremor.

“Shh got real when we saw this …”, Sarkodie captioned his post.

However, the rapper did not report any casualties as a result of the natural phenomenon.
