Media personality Dr. Pounds will come face-to-face with former Black Stars striker Baffour Gyan in a tennis match on June 27.
The friendly game between the two which has received so much buzz on social media is aimed at promoting the sport in Ghana.
Dr. Pounds has in the past few days vowed to teach the footballer a bitter lesson by defeating him terribly.
However, Baffour Gyan, who seems calm ahead of the game, said Dr. Pounds is ‘playing with fire’.
Baffour Gyan will lock horns with Dr. Pounds at the G-Unit Tennis Court, Weija Broadcasting road, at 8am.
General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan a.k.a Baby Jet is expected to grace the event.
Dr. Pounds is currently the host of Hitz Gallery on Hitz FM, Ghana’s biggest entertainment radio.
Baffour Gyan is a retired Ghanaian footballer who played as a striker for teams like Dynamo Moscow, Al-Nasr Benghazi, Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and other great teams.
