Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B has apologized to Afia Schwarzenegger over the unfortunate incident that happened at the Kempinski Hotel on Sunday.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker was scheduled for a meet and greet with some Ghanaian celebrities ahead of her concert at the Accra Sports Stadium but says she was unaware of the arrangement.
The Ghanaian comedienne went wild on social media when their planned event with Cardi B did not happen as scheduled and rained insults on the rapper and the organizers.
Cardi B, 27, saw Afia’s post on Instagram and decided to render an apology over the whole incident.
Afia Schwarzenegger went to the extent of calling the multiple award winner cheap, talentless, fameless rapper – and wondered why other celebrities would still wait till 10 pm just to see Cardi B.
In response to the brouhaha, Cardi B revealed that she had some stomach upset that made it quite impossible to meet the selected few at the scheduled time.
The meet and greet, however, came on at about 10 pm last night.
Afia Schwar posted a screenshot of Cardi B’s apology and said that she had accepted it in good faith.
