Samini is disappointed in his protégé, Stonebwoy, for failing to inform him about a musical battle he agreed to against Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will lock horns in a battle on a date expected to be announced soon.
‘SoundClash’ is an initiative by Accra-based radio station, Asaase Radio.
Reacting to the scheduled battle, Samini stated that it was out of place for Shatta Wale to battle Stonebwoy.
The ‘Linda’ hit maker believes that the ‘Kakai’ hit maker belongs to his era and they should have been paired.
Also, Samini stated that he has unresolved issues with Shatta Wale due to their beef some years ago and this led to Shatta Wale attacking Stonebwoy because the ‘Sugar’ singer was in the High Grade camp.
Samini feels that Stonebwoy is aware of these facts and should have informed him about the clash or allowed him to face Shatta Wale.
“You can’t take me out of the race….Tell Stonebwoy to inform me personally about that clash. I don’t have to hear it on the streets…Sometimes Samini too must talk. Sometimes Samini too must rant”, he stated.
He added that he is surprised that it was Shatta Wale, his rival, who rather called to inform him about the clash.
