A former friend of Shatta Wale, Pope Skinny, claims Beyoncé and Shatta Wale were never together for the shoot of their music video titled ‘Already’.

The artist stated that the scenes were shot separately and edited to make it seem that the two were together.

In a Facebook live video, Pope Skinny said he is not hating on Shatta Wale but the truth must be told.

“Wale never met Beyonce. I was in America in September last year. You see this video… Shatta Wale and Beyonce were never together”, he claimed.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian creative, Sharifah Issaka, who was one of the producers who helped make the music video says Beyoncé was not in Ghana for the shoot.

She explained that a team was put together in Ghana to shoot scenes for the video and by extension, the ‘Black is King’ visual album.

On how Shatta Wale teamed up with the American, she said the Ghanaian flew abroad to shoot his scenes with Beyoncé.
