Ghanaian Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has revealed how government through authorities of the Kotoka International Airport arranged for him to travel secretly outside the country for the ‘Already’ video shoot.

The artist traveled to the United States of America to shoot the music video for ‘Already’ with Beyoncé.

Many Ghanaians were surprised that the activities of Shatta Wale were not noticed before, during and after the shoot.

In an interview on Onua FM, he revealed that authorities helped him travel without being noticed.

“This is the time that I’ll say kudos to the current government not because of politics or anything. The airport understood that I said I wanted my trip to be kept a secret and they worked that for me. Kudos to Kotoka and their boss who arranged that for me. I went through the airport and they took me through VVIP, went into my first class and flew. It was them that paid for my expenses in and out, my hotel, food and everything. That is how come no Ghanaian got to know about it,” he stated.

Already’, a song released in 2019 by the American singer features Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale and international act Major Lazer.

It was released off Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.

On July 31, Beyoncé dropped the music video for the song.

The visuals for the album have been included in her movie titled ‘Black Is King’ available on Disney+ from July 31.
