Award-winning singer and songwriter Efya has vowed never to compose a song for any political party.
The musician doesn’t want to participate in partisan politics because it could destroy her career.
Regardless of the monetary benefits, Efya is resolute in her decision to stay away from partisan politics.
She noted that publicly declaring support for a political party could either help or destroy one’s career.
“I cannot create a campaign song for any party and I don’t get involved with politics. Sometimes it could end well other times it doesn’t. It could also affect your brand so I don’t really get involved with that,” she told GhanaWeb TV.
