Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has shared his opinion on election prophecies by some pastors in Ghana.
According to him, these political prophecies are false.
The ‘Tabitha Kum’ singer said pastors who make such prophecies were only campaigning for their political parties.
Omane Acheampong claims that almost every pastor has a political party he or she supports.
He added that many of these men of God can not boldly come out to declare their support for a particular political party so they hide behind prophecies to subtly indicate their political colours.
“So many prophecies but they don’t come to pass. The truth is that the prophecies are actually campaigns”, he said on UTV in the Twi language.
Omane Acheampong also argued that political party affiliation doesn’t affect the career of creatives.
He stated that fans will continue to love and follow their favourites irrespective of their political colours.
