Controversial Ghanaian musician, Barima Sidney has made a U-turn with regards to the release of the video of his song, ‘papa no.’

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Sidney explained circumstances leading to his change of mind.

‘I was speaking in an interview on Adom FM and I told them I was still going to release my video because I had not seen any lawsuit. Apparently the spokesperson for the person seeking the injunction had already been interviewed and he made a copy of the writ available to them. I was showed the writ and the presenter asked again if I had seen the injunction and I responded YES!. So there, I committed myself and there was no going back after that.’

The ‘papa no’ hitmaker says his team is working tirelessly to get to the bottom of this and as soon as everything is sorted, he will release the video.

He also denied rumour that suggests he was paid to release a song as papa no, in favour of any political party.

Barima is looking to his lawyer in the coming weeks to ascertain what happens with his music video.
