Chief Executive Officer of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman better known as Bullet has said he may just move his record label to neighbouring Nigeria.

According to the artist manager, some laws in the country restrict industry players from making money from their craft.

In an Instagram post Bullet lamented, some laws in the country were crippling record labels in the country because the laws are not helping them at all.

He cited the law that banned celebrities from endorsing and advertising alcoholic beverages in the country adding that such a law was bogus and needed to be trashed out.

He wrote; “Ghanais not a place to operate a record label business and this is very sad. Record labels do not make money from just shows where their artistes are billed to perform, majority of the money comes from endorsement deals. You people are always goofing with your laws. Do you guys have any idea of the devastasting effects of covid-19 on the creative arts.”

It is unclear what Bullet has seen about the Nigerian creative industry and why he wants to move his record label there. Time will definitely tell.
