Popular for being a part of the famous Alabaster Box quartet group, Horst Ayub says his weight was nothing he was proud of.
Horst Ayub was the falseto lead of the music group that entertained Ghanaians with their wonderful acapella renditions of songs.
Detailing his weight loss journey, Horst says at his heaviest he weighed about 120kg and as at the time of granting the interview he weighed just about 87kg.

Speaking in an interview with JiveGH, the acapella musician says he realised he had to lose weight after his wife always complained of hs loud snoring when he slept and his profuse sweating with the slightest increase in temperature.
‘Eating late, drinking fizzy stuff and a lack of exercise’ are examples of the things Horst Ayub believes contributed to his health gain, but with exercise, dieting and supplements he was able to reduce the waste drastically.

He advises anyone who desires to lose weight to, ‘start small. with something as little as walking and then build up as you go. Just set your mind to it and then do it.’
