Legendary Ghanaian gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong has been involved in a serious car accident.
The incident is said to have happened at Juaso Junction on the Kumasi stretch of road.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred after an over speeding truck tried to overtake another vehicle.
This reportedly nearly resulted in a head-on collision and the car which the gospel star was driving in got hit by a different vehicle.
Yaw Sarpong’s vehicle landed in a ditch after it was hit by the other vehicle.
Occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and they are receiving treatment at the Juaso hospital.
Yaw Sarpong was in the vehicle with his backing vocalist, Maame Tiwaa and two other people.
The musician’s management is yet to address fans about the incident.
