Lasmid has been crowned winner of the 2019 MTN Hitmaker competition.
After several weeks of impressive performances, Lasmid made history as the winner of the eight season of the competition.
At the finals held at the Fantasy Dome in Accra on Saturday, he beat competition from Kofi Pages, Nessa, and Alibaba.
Lasmid took home the mouth-watering cash prize of GHC120,000 recording contract, a plaque and souvenirs from sponsors.
Kofi Pages was adjudged second best and received a consolation prize of GHC20,000.
Ali Baba took the third place while Nessa grabbed the fourth position for the eight season of MTN Hitmaker.
The event saw performances by top Ghanaian artistes like Kidi and Medikal.
