Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has reiterated his assertion that no Ghanaian musician is actually rich.

According to the dancehall king, there are no rich musicians or celebrities in Ghana. Many perceive them so, simply because of the fake lives they live

Speaking in an interview with Sammy Baah Flex on Zylofon FM Shatta Wale said he was crucified the last time he said Ghana musicians are poor.

“When I said in an interview on UTV that Ghana musicians are poor including Reggie Rockstone, I was crucified. I had to apologize to Reggie and explain that I am not exempting himself from the ‘poor’ description.”

“However, it is the way we live that gives the false sense of hope to many who believe we are making it big,” he said.

Addressing the ban on celebrities to advertise for alcoholic brands, Wale noted the artistes need to come together to stage a protest against the move since it affects them directly.

When asked by the host whether he would be leading the protest against the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) as he has proposed, Shatta Wale said none of the artistes would join him if he should take up the initiative.

On that note, he jokingly said he would use that time to buy cement and start to put up a structure; better use of his time.
