Sammy, the guy whose heart was left broken by a certain Nana Ama in the early part of the year is currently auditioning for Date Rush.
Date Rush is a reality television show put up by the TV3 network where compatible partners are left to go on a date to try out their chances of starting a fresh and new relationship.
Well, this year’s Date Rush, even at the auditioning stages, has started on a very interesting note with the popular Sammy, who was heartbroken by Nana Ama, trying to find a new date; a new place of solace.
The heartbreak story of Sammy began when his University girlfriend broke up with him with apparently no reason or fault of his. His inability to deal with the pain and anguish the separation brought became topical on social media.
The likes of Nana Aba Anamoah went to the rescue of Sammy by sending comforting words to assure him of finding a new love who will love him for who he is.
The climax of the whole break up story was when a chat between Nana Ama and Sammy came out where the guy was trying to explain to the lady and convince her to rescind her decision.
Sammy began to enumerate all the good times they’ve had in the past and all the memories their relationship has made. The savage reply he received from the lady was “The past is not the present.”
That was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. The emotional and psychological health of Sammy went on an abrupt shutdown.
It took the help and assistance of celebrities like Nana Aba Anamoah, Delay and his friends to resuscitate Sammy from that heartbreak.
Well, a lot of water has clearly gone under that bridge and Sammy is hoping to enter into a new chapter of his life by auditioning for TV3’s Date Rush and hopefully find another Nana Ama…this time around a Nana Ama who believes the “past and the present are the same.”
