‘You hate my songs, but you jam to it; You are cursed’ – Kuami Eugene bursts out

Kuami Eugene has angrily and without the mincing of words expressed his personal reservation towards individuals he describes as haters who speak ill about every single music he puts out there.

According to the ‘Open Gate’ hitmaker, the time is up for him to address his haters and people who wickedly criticised his hard work but quietly enjoy what he does.

In a live Facebook session, Kuami Eugene said anyone who hates his latest hit song “Open Gate,” but dance to it anytime it’s played is clearly under a curse.

Kuami Eugene has become the centre of public ridicule for every step he takes. While many believe he is not as good as he portrays, others also hold on to the view that his songs are not so great especially when he is known for sampling lines and verses from other songs to complement his.

On the back of that, he has come under severe criticism for winning the the ‘Artiste Of The Year” award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Many of his critics still do not understand how an artiste with a song that has a line as “wele-sɛbɛ-kontomire’ could win an award.
