Don’t take undue advantage of my ‘Happy Day’ song – Sarkodie to Akufo-Addo

Rapper Sarkodie has jovially told President Akufo-Addo not to take undue advantage of his new song ‘Happy Day’.

This comes after the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flag-bearer, Akufo-Addo, in a tweet, appreciated rapper Sarkodie for endorsing his candidature ahead of the December 7 elections

Sarkodie’s endorsement of President Akufo-Addo is heard on his collaboration with Kuami Eugene titled ”Happy Day”.

The song was released on November 2, and and it sent social media into a frenzy for hours.

On “Happy Day”, Sarkodie endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo and asked that he be given a second term.

He also praised the president for keeping a stable supply of electricity as well as providing free Senior High School education.

Reacting to the song on his Twitter page, President Akufo-Addo decribed it as ‘nice’ and appreciated Sarkodie and Kuami Eugene.

”Nice song @sarkodie and @KuamiEugene. Indeed, the battle is still the Lord’s. #4MoreForNana”, Akufo-Addo wrote.

In a quick response, Sarkodie tweeted an akan saying which urges one not to take undue advantage of situations for their own good.

The rapper added that he will not hesitate to point out negatives within the Akufo-Addo government just like has has done to previous administrations.

”Nana M3nfa bronya ho nre akoko oo lool !! when I say aban ( all parties ) Shouts to yourself x JM but if i feel like pointing out the negatives too you know how we do”, the artist tweeted.
