Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly know as DKB says he is very happy rapper Sarkodie has been exposed after Kuami Eugene called him out.
Kuami Eugene said he is not comfortable with Sarkodie’s endorsement of President Akufo-Addo on their collaboration titled ”Happy Day”.
The song was released on November 2, and and it sent social media into a frenzy for hours.
On “Happy Day”, Sarkodie endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo and asked that he be given a second term.
In an interview with MzGee on 3FM, Kuami Eugene lamented he had no idea it was for such an agenda.
He said Sarkodie only sent him one verse of the song which never contained the endorsement part just to aid him in composing the chorus and his verse.
Kuami Eugene went ahead to state that he only got to know that the song contained the endorsement of NPP when he was on set ready to shoot the music video.
The musician who seems not happy about the development believes Sarkodie’s endorsement in the song will affect his career.
Commenting on the matter, DKB he narrated that during the build-up to the ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ vigil organised by Yvonne Nelson in 2016, Sarkodie endorsed the vigil and was even hyping it on social media.
He was however very surprised when a few days to the peaceful vigil, he heard Sarkodie had travelled out of the country.
DKB described Sarkodie as a trickster and warned that people should be very wary of him.
