Singer Kuami Eugene has stated that he will go to Sarkodie’s house to demand for his share of the money if indeed the rapper was paid for the ‘Happy Day’ song.
This comes after Kuami Eugene’s earlier comment that he is not comfortable with Sarkodie’s endorsement of President Akufo-Addo on their collaboration titled ”Happy Day”.
The song was released on November 2, and and it sent social media into a frenzy for hours.
On “Happy Day”, Sarkodie endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo and asked that he be given a second term.
In an interview with MzGee on 3FM, Kuami Eugene lamented he had no idea it was for such an agenda.
He said Sarkodie only sent him one verse of the song which never contained the endorsement part just to aid him in composing the chorus and his verse.
Kuami Eugene went ahead to state that he only got to know that the song contained the endorsement of NPP when he was on set ready to shoot the music video.
The musician who seems not happy about the development believes Sarkodie’s endorsement in the song will affect his career.
In an interview with TV host, Roselyn Felli, Kuami Eugene stated that he will storm Sarkodie’s house for his share of whatever money Sarkodie may have received for endorsing Akufo-Addo.
”Nobody paid me money. Not even one cedi….I will go to his house. If he took money….I will go for my share”, he said.
