Veteran Ghanaian rapper, Obrafour has dragged Stonebwoy’s hype woman, Ayisha Modi and TV presenter, Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay to court.
The rapper says he is suing both parties for what he calls defamation of character during a recent interview held by Delay on her show.
In the said interview, Ayisha Modi claims she once invested $45,000 in Obrafour’s album, but she did not get even a cedi back.
“I produced Obrafour’s ‘Kasiebo’. I invested close to $45000 but I didn’t even get GH¢1 from the song. I did this investment at a time when I didn’t even have a plot of land or a house,” Aisha Modi said this in the Twi language during the interview.
Obrafour known in real life as Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko has described these comments from Ayisha as false and a dent on his career which has spanned 20 years+.
In the writ sighted, Obrafour is demanding a retraction and apology from Ayisha Modi, the host and producers of the Delay Show. These he demanded to be published in the Daily Graphic Newspaper.
He is seeking for GHS 800,000 if Ayisha Modi, Delay and the producers of the Delay Show decline to retract and have it published in the Daily Graphic Newspaper as stated.
