Artist manager Kwasi Ernest has told Kuami Eugene to stop worrying about the impact of Sarkodie’s ”Happy Day” song which featured him.

This comes after Kuami Eugene’s earlier comment that he is not comfortable with Sarkodie’s endorsement of President Akufo-Addo on their collaboration.

The song was released on November 2, and and it sent social media into a frenzy for hours.

On “Happy Day”, Sarkodie endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo and asked that he be given a second term.

He said Sarkodie only sent him one verse of the song which never contained the endorsement part just to aid him in composing the chorus and his verse.

Kuami Eugene went ahead to state that he only got to know that the song contained the endorsement of NPP when he was on set ready to shoot the music video.

The musician who seems not happy about the development believes Sarkodie’s endorsement in the song will affect his career.

However, Kwasi Ernest has advised Kuami Eugene not to be bothered about comments on social media because the tune is not a political song.

“His (Kuami Eugene) part was a religious message and can even be played in church. So, he should stop bothering himself granting interviews and defending himself that he was not aware of. Kuami, the song is not a political song, so free your mind. It will not do anything to your career. It won’t harm you,” he said on Peace FM.
