Late Highlife musician Kofi Boakye popularly known as Kofi B was laid to rest on Saturday November 7.
Many sympathisers from across the country trooped in to pay their last respect to the ‘Akua Donkor’ hitmaker.
The burial service took place in his hometown in Asante Akyem Agogo.
During the funeral, Kofi B’s mother could not control her tears as she wept bitterly.
Repeatedly, she uttered the words, ‘Kofi you broke my heart’.
The late Kofi B on February 2, 2020, suffered a heart attack prior to performing at a concert in Cape Coast and was pronounced dead on arrival after being rushed to a hospital.
