Samini to speak at NPP’s virtual rally II

Award-winning Dancehall artist Samini will on Sunday, November 22, speak at the second edition of NPP’s virtual rally.

The singer shocked fans when he publicly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate ahead of the 2020 general elections.

He described Akufo-Addo as original, hardworking, competent and someone who is known by the international community for his good governance in his music video titled ‘Kpoyaka’.

Samini praised Akufo-Addo’s government for making some significant projects in its first four years, including roads, free education, creation of jobs and more in the music video.

Samini will join other speakers including Foreign Affairs Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, MP for Ofoase Ayirebi and Minister for Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah for the NPP virtual rally.

Others include Minister for Inner-City and Zongo Development, Mustapha Hamid and the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre (GIPC) Yoofi Grant.

Prince David Osei, Gospel artist Cwesi Oteng and David Antwi Ofori, Head of Operations at the Accra Digital Centre will also address the virtual audience.

The second edition of the virtual rally is themed ‘JOBS’ and will kick off at 3pm.

The virtual rally is organised by the HOPE campaign, a formidable campaign group affiliated to the ruling New Patriotic Party.
