Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson says former president John Dramani Mahama solved the erratic power supply situation popularly known as ‘Dumsor’ in Ghana.
She stated that the problem had been resolved before he was kicked out of office.
There were arguments and counter-arguments some weeks ago as to which government resolved the incessant outages of power that crippled the economy of the country.
Both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) have claimed credit for solving ‘Dumsor’.
Yvonne Nelson who organized a vigil to drum home the need for the dumsor threat to be solved gave credit to John Mahama.
The actress made this comment after a fan had accused her of failing to criticize President Akufo-Addo.
‘I understand you’re stupid…. My dumsor campaign was for Ghanaians to get their lights back on, which President Mahama fixed and nothing else, let someone smart clarify to you”, Yvonne Nelson replied.
